presented by the Kreisjugendring München-StadtThe youth forum www.neinheisstnein.de presented itself on the Munich youth festival and distributed information materials, Power-Child T-shirts and neinheisstnein (no means no) buttons to 3,000 potential users and multipliers.
Hardly any topic is subject to so much shame as sexual abuse and violence. Therefore it is the more important to offer the youths a forum where they can access counselling under the cover of anonymity that is still highly qualified.
Therefore, in July 2006 the organisation Power-Child e.V. went online with its web site www.neinheisstnein.de, a counselling, information and discussion platform for protection against sexual violence. Girls and boys aged 14 to 21 years have now got the possibility to be informed anonymously, profoundly and reliably and to get prompt support in times of crises.
The Power-Child counselling team points out targeted contents and measures for protection against sexual violence and for escaping sexually pressing situations.
In addition to personal counselling the weekly, current and moderated discussions and chats are about questions regarding safety in the virtual as well as the real world: How can I chat safely? What can I do if somebody hassles me at a party?
